FREE WordPress UTM & GCLID catcher plugin

This simple and free plugin captures and saves UTM tags and the Google Click Identifier (GCLID) in cookies, enabling them to be sent through WPForms. It adds WPForms tags for UTM and GCLID that you can use in your forms or CRM integrations.

You need this plugin to send GCLID and other campaign data to CRM systems as part of your leads, if your lead form is not installed on the landing page. Without it, the GCLID passed in the URL may be lost during the customer's journey on your site.

In the CRM, you can filter leads and send the GCLID data from converted ones back to Google as offline conversions via Make or Integromat, improving your campaign efficiency.

HOW TO INSTALL THIS PLUGIN

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL

Download plugin in .zip format from our site of GitHub.
Go to the "plugins" section for your WordPress console and press "Add new plugin" button.
Press the button "Upload plugin" and select the file.

SIMLPY USE IT

Go to WPForms section and open any form for editing.
Choose the field and go to the field options.
Press "Show Smart Tags" link near default field's value and select tag you need - gclid, or one from the utm tags.
